A Proper Diet is the FIRST step toward better health.

We are what we eat!  Nutrients that keep our bodies functioning, our brains thinking and our hearts pumping…are found in FOOD! If we do not supply our bodies with a good balance of quality materials to keep all of these things working…we get sick.

Through mass production, heavy processing and improper preparation techniques, The Standard American Diet has become deficient in many of these vital nutrients.

Additionally our food supply is being contaminated with pesticides, additives, dyes, synthetic vitamins and other toxins that are interfering with the delicate biological balance within our bodies.

It’s not just the quality of our food affecting our health.  Environmental toxicity is everywhere!  Our air, our oceans and our soils are all being polluted.

As a Result…Nutritional deficiencies & toxic burden are creating  disruptions in the basic foundations of our health including:

  • Digestion
  • Blood Sugar Regulation
  • Essential Fatty Acids Balance
  • Mineral Balance
  • Hydration

Over time these imbalances can manifest into more serious health issues like:

  • IBS / Crohn’s / Colitis
  • Depression / Anxiety
  • Weight Problems
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Skin Problems/Eczema/Psoriasis
  • Impaired Cognition / Brain Fog
  • Fertility Issues & Birth Defects
  • Cardiovascular Issues
  • Allergies
  • Autoimmunity
  • Cancer
  • Osteoporosis
  • Insomnia
  • Migraines
  • And More!!

Through amazing advances in science, doctors now have the ability to prescribe thousands of medications to help people deal with the health repercussions of this modern lifestyle.  The problem is that may of these medications focus on relieving symptoms BUT they fail to correct the deeper underlying issues that are responsible for the manifestation of these symptoms. On top of that, many of these medications come with a long list of side effects and can create even more imbalances in the body.

Is there something we can do about all of this?

Happy Tummies of The Lowcountry can Help!

How does it work?

Your Initial Assessment is Two Ninety Minute Meetings!

  • Start by calling to schedule your appointment then fill out your Happy Tummies Welcome Package.

  • You will receive an invitation to take a comprehensive Online Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire

  • I will ask you to keep a Food Journal for a minimum of 3 days so I can get a glimpse of what your dietary habits look like.

  • Once you’ve returned the above to me, I get to work on your assessment.

  • Our initial meeting is 90 minutes.  This is your opportunity to talk about your health concerns and goals.   We will also go over the results from your questionnaire and your health history.

  • During the Initial Assessment we’ll perform a Functional Evaluation.  Using reflex points and other testing methods, we will look at how your physical responses relate to your health concerns.DSC_0662 (2)

  • We will also test some of these reflex points with nutrients using Lingual Neuro Testing (LNT) which is a bio-feedback technique to see if we can identify specific nutrients that might assist in supporting your body and encourage healing.

  • The second meeting is also 90 minutes.  We will go over your summary of findings and put the final touches on your Personalized Nutrition Plan.  This has to be a team effort!  Your plan has to be something that you feel comfortable with and is realistic for your life.

  • Regular follow ups are strongly recommended to monitor progress and make adjustments.  Your initial plan is typically a stepping stone intended to prepare your body for more targeted therapy as we work toward your goals.

  • Optional Lab Testing is available for an additional cost. Lab Tests include Blood Testing, General Wellness Panel, Stool Testing, Urinary Organics Acids Test, DUTCH Hormone Testing, etc…  All Lab work is non-diagnostic and for informational purposes only.

What does it cost?

The Initial Assessment is $185 and consists of:

  • First two visits

  • Diet/Food Journal Assessment

  • Symptom Burden Analysis

  • Functional Exam

  • Nutrient Testing (LNT)

  • Summary of Findings

  • Shopping Lists

  • Customized Nutrition Plan

For best results, 3, 6, and 12 Month Packages are available and are strongly recommended to keep you focused, make adjustments as needed and to monitor progress.  Reaching your health goals can be a process which requires diligence, time and patience.

* Each initial client requires on average 3-4 “behind the scenes” hours for case evaluation and research.

* Price does not include the cost of supplements or food.

* After your Initial Assessment, a la carte Follow Up visits are $85 per visit.

My name is Hollie and I’m a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I’ve had digestive issues all my life and as I got older things started getting worse so I decided it was time to figure out why. That decision led me down the path to answer the question “What Makes My Tummy Happy?”.  My personal healing experience taught me more than I ever could have imagined about the connection between nutrition, digestion and our body’s amazing power to heal.  My mission is to share what I’ve learned and help other people have Happier Tummies too.

Please note! I am not a Doctor nor do I treat or diagnose disease.

If you have a health problem that is beyond my scope of practice I will try to help you find an appropriate Doctor or Practitioner. When the time is right, we can revisit Nutritional Therapy or use it as an adjunctive treatment.

I work by identifying the underlying causes of your symptoms and supporting those areas with proper nutrition so your body has the tools it needs to heal, to be healthy and to be vital! The goal is to nourish you back into balance so the symptomatic signals turn off and health can resume.
